Acupuncture and Herbs of Lu

Dr. Shaoru Lu is a California state-licensed acupuncturist and a California state Educational Board-certified herbalist. With more than 25 years of experience practicing Traditional Chinese Medicine, she is an active member of the American Acupuncture Council.

Dr. Lu’s medical education began from Chang Chun Traditional Chinese Medicine University in China in 1978 where she received training in both traditional Chinese medicine and western medicine. She had been practicing acupuncture and herbal medicine for fifteen years in China after she graduated from the medical school, accumulating vast clinical experience. She was a Chief Physician. Dr. Lu had been active in Chinese medical research, and published more than fifty articles in magazines and conventions.

In 1999, Dr. Lu came to USA and established her practice here under the name Acupuncture and Herbs of Lu. Her approach is to combine eastern acupuncture skills, herbal medicine and western medical techniques to guide each patient to his or her unique way to health and peace.

For the past seventeen years, Dr. Lu has cured many patients whose conditions could not be helped with the classical western medicines alone. She has established her reputation as an effective acupuncturist in the east L.A. area.
